The issuance of a multiple entry visa is at the SOLE DISCRETION of the Embassy. Even if you have requested a multiple entry visa on your application this is by NO means guaranteed.
Applicants whose UK residency is "loose leaf" & not stamped in their passport, will be rejected.

Photos Explained:
2x colour passport photos (3,5 x 4,5cm) taken against a white background with good contrast/clear/good quality, printed on normal photographic paper (not scanned), and full face without glasses or head covering.
Nexus Visas now have facilities to take passport photos at their offices for an additional fee.

Documents Relating to Your Trip Explained:
These may include:
- An invitation from business of personal contacts in Canada;
- A letter from your employer explaining the purpose of your trip;
- Registration for a conference;
- An itinerary
- Original bank statement

Bank Statement Explained:
Original bank statement must be less than 1 month old and show a minimum credit balance of £40 per day of stay and include the applicant's home address. If the bank statement is more than 1 month old then an internet printout must be included.
If a bank statement cannot be provided then travellers cheques showing £40 per day spent will also be acceptable.
- Original letter of employment or university letter
(Self-Employed) (Student) (Au-Pair/Domestic Worker);
Employment Requirements Explained:
The Letter of Employment must include the following:
- Applicants position
- Signatories position (Signature must be original. A scanned signature will not be acceptable)
- Date of leave and Date of Return
- Applicants start date with the company
- Companies registration or VAT number
The letter must be dated less than 1 month of application.
If Self-Employed:
- A letter from your accountant/bank manager/solicitor confirming this.
- Your last 3 invoices
If you are self employed and cannot provide a letter from any of the above then we will be unable to assist with your application.
If you are Student:
- Official up-to-date letter (less than 1 month) from your school, college or university stating the type of studies, details of course and attendance record.
If you are an Au-Pair/Domestic Worker:
- An up-to-date letter from your employer, as above
- Employer's valid passport
- Your contract of employment / your last 3 payslips.
- Last 3 payslips (if applicable);
- A complete itinerary

Complete Itinerary Explained:
This can include:
- Cities you intend to visit;
- Full names, addresses and telephone numbers of all personal and/or businesses you will contact;
- Your method of travel.
- UK Residency required

UK Residency Explained:
Applicants on a Class "C" visa must apply direct to the consulate regardless of the validity issued.
Applicant's UK RESIDENCY visa must be valid for at least 6 months and 1 day in total and must be valid 3 months beyond the expiry date of the visa applied for.
If you are a dependent then you will need to provide your spouse/partners passport and original marriage certificate if applicable.
If a minor is travelling (under 18) then the original birth certificate must be provided.

- Passports must be valid for at least one day beyond intended departure.
- Persons under 18 years of age who are not accompanied by their parents or legal guardian(s), or by just one parent or legal guardian, should have a letter of consent from the non-accompanying parent(s) or legal guardian(s), giving them permission to travel alone or with a representative or relative. Children travelling by themselves must have their own passports; they cannot use the passport of their parents even if their details are endorsed in that passport.
The following DO NOT require a visa:
- Citizens of Canada;
- British Citizens, British National Overseas Citizens & British dependent Territories Citizens who are re-admissible to the United Kingdom (does not apply to UK Passport holders where the passport is endorsed "British Subject", who need a visa);
- Citizens of British Dependent Territories who derive their citizenship through birth, descent, registration or naturalization in one of the British dependent territories of Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Montserrat, Pitcairn, St. Helena or Turks & Caicos Islands;
- Citizens of Andorra, Antigua & Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Botswana, Brunei Darussalam, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong (S.A.R. passport holders only), Iceland, Ireland Rep, Israel (National Passport holders only), Italy, Japan, Korea (South), Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Portugal, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Samoa, San Marino, Singapore, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, Spain, Swaziland, Sweden & Switzerland
- Citizens of United States & persons lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence who are in possession of their alien registration card (Green Card)
- Holders of passports or travel documents issued by the Vatican City
- Visitors must depart Canada within 6 months from the date of arrival, unless otherwise indicated upon arrival. Extensions to this period must be obtained by submitting an application to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville, Alberta
- All visitors must hold onward/return tickets, documents required for next destination & sufficient funds for length of stay.
