The issuance of a multiple entry visa is at the SOLE DISCRETION of the Embassy. Even if you have requested a multiple entry visa on your application this is by NO means guaranteed.
Applicants whose UK residency is "loose leaf" & not stamped in their passport, will be rejected.

UK Residency Explained:
Applicants on a Class "C" visa must apply direct to the consulate regardless of the validity issued.
Applicant's UK RESIDENCY visa must be valid for at least 6 months and 1 day in total and must be valid 3 months beyond the expiry date of the visa applied for.
If you are a dependent then you will need to provide your spouse/partners passport and original marriage certificate if applicable.
If a minor is travelling (under 18) then the original birth certificate must be provided.

Photos Explained:
2x colour passport photos (3,5 x 4,5cm) taken against a white background with good contrast/clear/good quality, printed on normal photographic paper (not scanned), and full face without glasses or head covering.
Nexus Visas now have facilities to take passport photos at their offices for an additional fee.

The following DO NOT require a visa:
- Nationals of Egypt;
- Nationals of Bahrain, Djibouti, Guinea, Jordan (if holding a passport valid for 5 years) Libya, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates & Yemen;
- Nationals of Malaysia can stay for up to two weeks without a visa, after this time usual requirements apply;
- For stays upto 14 days:
- All nationals from the United Kingdom & EU;
- Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.
- Holders of a re-entry permit;
- Palestinians holding a residence card provided that their stay outside Egypt did not exceed 6 months.
- Nationals of the following countries must register at the Office of Foreigners & Nationality within 7 days of arrival (normally handled by hotels on visitor's behalf): Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belize, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Chad, Congo Dem Rep, Ghana, Honduras, India, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tajikistan, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkmenistan, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Yemen & holders of Palestinian documents;
- Nationals of the following countries require approval from Authorities in Cairo prior to issuing a visa: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Moldova, Morocco, Somalia, Tunisia & Vietnam;
- Nationals of Bangladesh, Congo Dem Rep, Eritrea, Ethiopia, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Somalia, Sri Lanka & Tanzania must hold onward/return tickets.
