EU PRE SETTLED STATUS / SETTLED STATUS
Following Brexit on 31st December 2020, EU nationals, other than those from the Republic of Ireland, were no longer entitled to freedom of movement within the UK. Those able to show they were living in the UK before this date were able to register for Pre Settled or Settled Status through the EU Settlement Scheme
Those who have lived in the UK for less than 5 years prior to this date, would have been issued with Pre Settled Status
Those who have lived in the UK for 5 years will be issued with Settled Status
Family Members of EU Nationals living in the UK may also qualify under the EU Settlement Scheme
